Oceanus has champion bloodlines on both sides, including his sire, Big Little's Dekel and Shadlac Lord Montgomery. This black stallion is 100% Shire and has been healthy since the day I got him. He naturally got my grey Shire mare pregnant this spring who is healthy and due next spring. There is a 50% chance the foal will be black and 50% chance it will be grey. She spent the spring and summer in his pen. You can trust Oceanus to be in with a mare and he will be gentle, loving and kind to her and safely make a healthy baby on his own. I have turned this stallion loose on acres of grass and trees with all of my horses for years. Oceanus is solid black, around 18.2hh, big white blaze, four even high white stockings, with some white under his belly, throat latch, on top of his withers and a white stripe in his tail. Both eyes are brown and his long mane is solid black. Oceanus is registered and papered with the American Shire Horse Association. He has been tested by the University of California, Davis and will only throw black to his offspring. I will give the color test results to the next owner along with his ASHA papers. He's confident, easy going, funny and loving. Goes in and out of the trailer with ease. Halters easy. Lounges great and has been lounged since he was a baby. He listens well and genuinely wants to work with people. He would excel under saddle or driving and would be an absolutely incredible ride as he's athletic and has such a nice back. Oceanus has a solid foundation of groundwork and is at the perfect age to be broke to ride with healthy bones and joints. If put in the show ring, this horse will be a champion. This stallion is absolutely breathtaking and is worth a lot more than I am asking because I have to rehome all of my horses at no fault of their own and move very quickly. I am asking for $13,000 obo for this sweet, confident, laid back, fun, handsome stallion. I would never sell this incredible stallion who is at such a perfect age if I didn't t have to. I have photos and videos to share, tons of baby photos, his lineage documented for over six generations and photos of his sire, dam and some of his great (great great etc) sires and dams, some of whom are famous in the Shire world.
