Abraham Gelding CAN M36736 Purebred registered Clydesdale gelding, DOB June 11, 2020; will mature about 17.1HH – 17.2HH(currently 17HH). Dark blue roan with four perfect whites and narrow straight blaze. Undocked, long tail. Up to date with vaccines & de-wormer, teeth done May 7, 2024, no issues with teeth & dental records are available. Very calm minded, easy to catch and a quick learner. Quiet, well mannered, easy to bath, clip, load & trailer. He is being rode, going very nice at walk, trot & canter, easily picking up both leads. Has been exposed to ground poles and cavaletties, shows nice forward movement to & over jumps. Excellent start to what would be a great riding career in any discipline. In harness he is doing fantastic in single, team and multi hitches. Has experience with sleigh, wagon, harrows, plowing in three abreast & disking, harrowing, seeding with four abreast, as well as chore team competitions. Great movement, very athletic, excellent for ride & drive. Stands good for farrier, his excellent feet are trimmed every 8wks. Has worn hobbles with no issues. In a herd setting he is upper level. Abe & Fender are a well-matched, eye-catching, young roan team that are doing great and have a huge future in front of them. Their team training was done with mature experienced horses and now these extremely well-matched young boys are paired together. Both of them easily drive on either side. What a flashy great looking young team with a huge future! Calmly walk over pole and stand quietly to hook/unhook. Excellent at backing, fanning both ways and will quietly stand in the middle of the yard while you go have lunch! Easily walk over tarps, through curtains. Excellent ground driving manners. Exposed and not bothered by chasing dogs, large equipment with air brakes, ATV’s, snowmobiles, noisy kids, cows, donkeys and mini ponies. They are in harness about 3 to 4 days a week, doing about two hours at a time of walking, plus another couple of hours standing hooked pre & post drive.
